Learn MoreI never expected to be giving a five-star review to a colonoscopy, but here we are. 1. I had some concerns when my 12:00 appointment became a 12:30 appointment, but all things considered that wasn't too bad. 2. Paperwork was pretty onerous. This is the 21st century, and I'm still having to fill out forms, many of them with duplicate information, on paper with a pen. I felt like it was an Amish cosplay. Really guys, do better. 3. The intake was done by actual humans with personalities. here I am a week later and I can still remember names like Margaret, Sean, Dr. Guzman. There was also another nice nurse who attended during the actual procedure who was very personable, but apparently four names were too many for me to remember. 4. The procedure was a non-event. I was put to sleep. I woke up. Everything was done. I was treated like an actual human with empathy and assistance when it was time to wake up. I would have to look and see what they gave me to make me sleep, but I woke up feeling like I'd had the best night's sleep I'd had in years. No after effects . Compare this to my hospital stay in Viera where the recovery nurse was an absolute hyena. 5. The worst part about this was the prep, but I saw that coming. The actual event was worth giving a five-star review.
Great care and people. Long delays should be expected.
Staff and facility were all great for my recent colonoscopy procedure.
All of the personnel here are absolutely wonderful. I could not ask for a better experience. This is my second procedure here and both times the staff has been exemplary.
